Pitchgiving Party Recap: Deals, Pitches and Investors That Spoke
Happy Friday Fam,
Welcome back to Napkin Notes: the only startup newsletter you read that won’t bombard you with black Friday deals next week.
Yesterday, we hosted one heck of a Pitchgiving event. And if you missed it, we’ll only forgive you if you watch the recording and tell us your favourite part.
We had
over 350 RSVPs,
4 killer startups
3 amazing VCs
and an event host that puts SNL to shame
It was a virtual pitch event for the history books.
So let’s dig into more of the goodies, shall we?
🎉 Highlights from the Event:
Payaway: This startup garnered the most funding interest, impressing attendees with its groundbreaking approach.
Substream, Evercopy, and XRAY: Each delivered compelling pitches, showcasing unique solutions that left the audience eager to learn more.
Haley Bryant: Our host was nothing short of exceptional, guiding the event with charisma and insight.
VC Panelists: A special thank you to Rio Hodges from Antler, Ahmed Mirza from Techstars, and Ashley Balla from Haloggen Ventures. Their expertise and feedback were invaluable to both the startups and attendees.
